6 of 12 Taxol Treatments: Half Way!

Chemo was good this week! Had my MRI on Friday – should have results this week.

  • 8:30- Port Tapping
    • Weight – not going in the direction I’d like.  I’ve been doing a lot of walking though so hopefully I can get it to drop.
  • 9:00 – Met with DR
    • Blood – Passed!
    • Talked through the MRI – there were still no results.  Dr said that he wouldn’t expect a cyst to shrink with Chemo.
  • 9:15 – Down to infusion
    • My Chairs were taken so I had to find a new place
    • I finally got a massage! I was able to sneak in a 10 min foot massage before I started icing!
  • 11:30 – Done with Chemo!
  • 11:30 – Acupuncture with David
    • Had a nice nap
  • 12 – Done!

Overall it went pretty smoothly.  The Dr’s seem to feel good about the progress and we’re sticking with the current plan.  I think we’re scheduled for the surgery 10/25.  I’ll post MRI results later this week. I also need to make my surgery decisions soon.
