So “The Shedding” has begun. It’s amazing how quickly your hair starts to come out. Each time I touch it, more comes out. I leave a breadcrumb trail of hair everywhere I go. Luckily I have a lot of hair, so it will probably take another day or two before I need to cut it low.
Luckily, I saw Jennifer again today with Hair with Care. We narrowed down from 6 to 1 wig! Her name is Amber – my sexy alter ego hair. She’s not 100% ready for prime time, but with a little love (tomorrow my long time colorist Anne will give her some highlights) then Jennifer will take Amber in for a tuck, cut and thinning. Since my head is so small, we need to then cut my hair to get it fitted nice and snug. But we’re so close. Amber may be debuting this week.

In the meantime, I started flirting with some head wraps. They still make me feel like I have cancer, but maybe I can amp up the eye makeup to sauce the look up. Suggestions welcome! I’m heading to a Look Good Feel Better Clinic for those going through chemo to help learn some new makeup techniques to combat the chemo look. Should be fun.
